week 8

I can not believe it is the 8th week. I want to thank everyone who post to my draft papaer review, I will probably use all advice. Well I not sure if I will continue to blog, my husband hates the whole blog, twitter thing but maybe I could sneek it.

My son's last baseball game is Saturday they are in first place right now, but it is the playoffs so go Rays.

Peer reviewing

I just did my two peer review for our papers. It was horrible just because basically I have no room to talk. But I actually learned some stuff by looking over my classmates papers. I actually know alot more about citations than I thought, go figure. Well I am off to go fix my paper after reviewing others. So everyone have a great week and I hope to see everyone one in seminar next week, this week was just weird, but we did talk alot about our papers with out a professor. Type to you soon.

Hello everyone,
Well I have been working on my paper and I am struggling. I am just not a good writer, so it is taking me forever to finish, just my rough draft. I get to discouraged I think and that does not help, plus my kids are constantly bothering me even if my husband is home. Blah Blah I know to many excuses, I will not be defeated. Take care everyone I have work to do.

Writing

Good morning everyone,
How is everyone doing this week? I am doing great, except my printer is not working and I have to read everything from the computer so it has been a pain in the butt.
Writing techniques, well I always did the whole outline thing, but I have been thinking that I make lists for everything so I am going to try the listing technique and see how it works out.
My academic challenges are writing and math so this class is very hard for me, but I have actually learned more with citations then in my first Comp. class. I am a simple person so what I have to say is not that interesting, you know what I mean? I know that what I am doing in school is helping me come out of my shell and I am going to make a better life for my kids no matter how hard it is, I will do it!

Plagiarism

Hello everyone,
Well I think that we need to cite all authors or web cites, and all others because they worked on on their own ideas and we should not have the right to use them without giving credit. If someone took my idea I would probably confront that person and make sure the right people know that that was my work. I am pretty sure that someone has stolen one of my ideas from working at Publix and did not give me credit, but always remember what comes around goes around.
The internet is very bad about plagiarism I see alot of people on the news saying that someone has taken maybe like a picture and put it on You tube without their permission, I think that is a form of plagiarism.

Online college

Hello everyone I love being able to stay home with my kids and attend college at the same time, even though it gets a little tricky sometimes. I get to pretty much make my own schedule and not have to get all dolled up to attend college. I love the support system at Kaplan it is amazing. On the subject of having a closer class community, I think that all the classes should have the student lounge, or this blogger because it keeps the student informed with each other besides the discussion board.
